Quick Update
The inspiration that I draw from this powerful reminder is that the struggle for a more just and equitable society is not complete until justice is achieved for everyone. In many instances it was our mothers, tias, and grandmothers who have best embodied the sacrifice that Cesar Chavez was asking of us. He was asking us to activate our collective will to do for others, something that is presently testing our nation’s ability to create a shared vision that includes and benefits all.
